Planner Printables

First, I have to say I struggled getting good photos of these pages today. Shine from the clear stickers and StoryTeller Pockets were challenging me!

So… this month started off with me wanting to do so many different projects. I love the look, size and format of Travelers Notebooks and I love Planners. But the reality is that I don’t have all kinds of extra time in my days for more craft projects. My extra time needs to be spent away from the studio refreshing myself and enjoying time with my husband. Then I thought about why I do scrapbooking and paper crafts. I scrapbook to leave a legacy and also to remember all the good in our lives. The movie The Notebook is always in the back of my mind too lol thinking about how, as I age, I don’t remember everything and my albums are a great help to remember all the memories I’ve shared with my family. That led me to a memory planner approach.

What is a Memory Planner? I’m not planning out memories or anything like that. I’m keeping a planner with appointments, outings etc and then I’m inserting one of these great pocket page inserts from Webster Pages perfect for your A5 planners that I got from scrapbook.com! These allow me to add some photos for each month. So it’s a bit of project life and a bit of a planner! And the other good thing about this is that it is all contained in a planner binder that I could likely keep a couple of years worth of memories in. Thinking my family would be more likely to hold onto this after I’m gone, like they will the photobooks I’m making.

I’m using the new Planner Printables from DesignerDigitals.com for pages base. Then, for January, I’ve used the Monthly Memories Vol2 Printables for stickers and embellishments for my pages. I really like how this is coming together and hope it’s something I can keep going and evolve upon as the year goes on.

I’m sure I’ll still dabble in the Traveler’s Notebooks and I’ll definitely still be designing printables for TNs but, at this point, not making that my focus.

On to setting up for February! Happy Planning!
