I will never forget 9.11

I will never forget where I was, the friends that were due to arrive from Amsterdam that morning, the international student who had been living with us that my neighbor had taken to the train to catch her bus to NYC that morning, teaching swim lessons at the gym and watching the big screens showing the first tower collapse, the fear in my dad’s voice as I called to check on word of our family in the city, the fear, the uncertainty, the days that followed and all those who were lost that day. Never forget.
